CHC is the first Farm Sustainability Assessment (FSA) certification holder in Indonesia (any commodity) and achieved the first FSA certification for Cinnamon (Indonesian cassia) globally. We work with more than 900 FSA farmers under our farm management system (certified to the Silver standard).
The FSA tool was developed by the SAI Platform (Sustainable Agricultural Initiative). SAI has over 150 members from farmer cooperatives to the largest multinational food and beverage manufacturers.
Companies that purchase FSA cinnamon/cassia from CHC can make the public claim that their cinnamon/cassia is FSA verified.
